The Iwate ILC Promotion Council will be holding an open ILC symposium in Morioka on December 6th (Tuesday), to supplement the Linear Collider Workshop (LCWS) 2016 from 12/5-12/9. If you’re in Iwate, and you’re interested in the ILC, this event is for you!

Program

・1st session “Current status of the ILC, and its impact on the local region”

Presenter: Dr. Atsuto Suzuki, president of Iwate Prefectural University (former director of KEK)

・2nd session: Panel discussion

Theme: “What various regions are doing to realize the ILC, and their hopes for the project”

・After the program ends, there will be a reception at the nearby Morioka Grand Hotel. Admission to the reception is 5,000 yen.
